Uproar in Amazon basin as strange glowing mutant fish are found near alien landing site.

Since the turn of the 19th century tribes people of the Amazon basin have reported strange happenings in forest clearings. Rough sketches previously found on cave walls depict saucer shaped objects with lines emanating from them. As recently as 1997 the lost Hellarwee tribe reported sightings to missionaries and visiting CIA men on covert operations to overthrow the Government (but that's another story).

Dr. Stieff Boner of the Amazonian Basin Research Institute says that previous soil and water samples from the supposed landing site proved negative. However, following reports about mysterious fish turning up in nets Dr. Boner and his assistant, Ben Dover PhD, trawled local waters for examples.

The specimen shown above displays a glowing purple colour. This particular species would normally show sexual dimorphism but both male and female are now clearly indistinguishable.

Ruby Murray, an Oxford Don and renowned specialist in this field has her own theory. It may be the result of chemical or biological pollutants entering the waterways she spluttered through her braces and tight pouting lips. In under developed parts of the world poor or no controls exist to prevent contaminants entering the waters. Research has shown that animals so affected can not only take on strange appearances, change colour, and alter sex, but can also mutate to other forms. It is my firm belief that this indeed is the case, on the other hand I could be talking bollocks - I sometimes do.
